A video of an elephant eating mangoes from tree is going on viral on social media.
The 18-second clip tweeted by Susanta Nanda of the Indian Forest Service has gone viral on the micro-blogging platform with more than 6,000 views.
The elephant in the video first tried to reach out to grab onto the low-hanging fruit on the tree. When he couldn't reach the fruit, he simply grabbed the tree with his trunk and shook it lightly so that the mangoes would fall. Then he proceeded to savour the sweet rewards of his efforts!
"It's mango time. How can the giant be denied to have the taste of king of fruits. It gently shakes the tree to enjoy a sweet snack," Susanta Nanda said in the caption of the post.
