10 permanent judges administered oath in HC virtually

Aurangabad, June 1:

A total of 10 additional judges were administered the oath in different benches of Bombay High Court on Tuesday virtually as permanent judges.

The Law and Justice Department issued a notification about the oath-taking ceremony of the judges. Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Dipankar Dutta, senior judge at Nagpur HC bench Justice S B Shukre, senior judge at Aurangabad HC bench Justice S V Gangapurwala, senior judge at Goa bench Justice S C Gupte administered the oath to judges as permanent judges.

The names of the judges who took the oath are Justice Avinash G Gharote, Nitin Bhagawantrao Suryawanshi, Anil Satyavijay Kilor, Milind Narendra Jadhav, Mukund Govindrao Sewlikar, Virendrasingh Gyansingh Bisht, Bhalchandra Ugrasen Debadwar, Mukulika Shrikant Jawalkar, Surendra Pandharinath Tavade and Nitin Rudrasen Borkar.

The court registrar of each bench read appointment warrant signed by the President of the country for the judges, letter of additional secretary (Department of Law and Justice, Central Government) Rajendra Kashyap and appointment warrant issued by the Governor for the senior judges. Justices Mukund Govindrao Sewlikar and Bhalchandra Ugrasen Debadwar took the oath at Aurangabad bench.
