Aurangabad, Jan 10:
Two persons died on the spot as a tempo dashed their motorcycle opposite Khedkar Bungalow at Tapargaon on Solapur – Dhule National Highway on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Jaggannath Bhanudas Thorat (45) and Rajendra Sukhdev Thorat (40, both residents of Debhegaon, Kannad).
According to the details, both were going on the motorcycle (MH 20 CE 7237) when a tempo (MH 20 EL 0610) dashed their motorcycle. Jaggannath Thorat died on the spot while Rajendra Thorat was taken to the Harnoor Primary Health Centre for treatment. As there was no treatment facility at the centre, he was taken to Khuldabad in an ambulance where he died on the way.
