Aurangabad, June 18:

Thieves broke into two shops in Shahgunj area and made off with articles and cash amounting Rs 42,600 on Wednesday night. A case has been registered in this regard at the City Chowk police station.

Kishor Navinchand Jain (49, Cidco) runs an electronic gadgets shop at Shahgunj. On June 16, he locked at around 8 pm the shop as usual and went home. The thieves entered in the shop and took away three motorpumps amounting Rs 25,600. Similarly, the thieves also entered the neighbouring shop of Syed Shafiq Syed Hamid and stole a electric pump and copper wire bundle amounting Rs 8,000.
