Aurangabad, June 20:

A team of Jawaharnagar Police Station raided shops that were selling duplicate spare parts of the prominent brand on Sunday. Police recovered duplicate spare parts worth Rs 36,700.

Police inspector of Jawaharnagar Police Station Santosh Patil said that they received complaints from the branded spare parts company that their duplicate spare parts were being sold at Car Decorators Shop at Apna Bazaar Complex and owned by Gurumitsingh Karnalsingh Bindra (55, Cidco), Seva Automobile Shop owed by Amit Premchand Jain (48, Ahimsanagar, Maheshnagar).

A senior officer of the branded company Revnath Vishnu Kekan(39, Hadapsar, Pune) had lodged a complaint with the police about duplicate spare parts.

PI Santosh Patil and his team raided both the shops and recovered duplicate oil seal, oil coolant, headlight switch, assembly, wall walker and TP Sensor.

The value of all spare parts is Rs 36,700. A case was registered with Jawaharnagar Police Station.
