2,799 confirmed admission in RTE round-I

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Nearly 2799 students confirmed their admissions in the first round of admissions on 25 per cent reserved seats under the Right to Education (RTE) Act in the district.

The first round was completed on Tuesday. The messages will be sent to the candidates whose names are on the waiting list.

After the registration process was over, the draw of lots was picked up on February 10. Those students whose names figured in the first selection list were allowed to confirm admissions up to March 10.

The admissions process on the selection list of all districts was completed. The admission process for candidates whose names are on the waiting lists started on Tuesday. The message is being sent to the parents of these candidates.

The parents will have to take a printout of the allotment letter and get verified along with other required documents through the verification committee at the nearest verification centre. Once the documents are verified, these parents can confirm the online admissions and submit their receipt with the school concern up to March 24.

4349 selected in 1st round; 2799 confirmed admission

More than 16,800 students applied for admissions from the district this year from January 14 to February 2 for the academic year 2025-26. The draw of lots for admissions for 4,349 seats in 562 schools of the district was picked up online in Pune in February.
