The work of Aurangabad – Jalgaon road is in progress. As child labourers were observed at this work, cases have been filed against three contractor companies, including Lanco Rhitik Infotech, R K Chavan Infrastructure and Mahalaxmi Constructions at the Phulambri police station based on the complaint filed by the officers of the labour commissionerate.

The work of the Aurangabad – Jalgaon road is in progress for the past many days. The district president of the Bhartiya Manavadhikar Parishad, Ismail Shaikh Salim Shaikh, and Baban Eknath Thorat complained to the labour commissionerate that children are being employed on the road work. The officer of the commissionerate, Amol Jadhav went to the site to verify the complaint and found five child labourers there. He informed about it to his senior officers. He later lodged a complaint at the Phulambri police station against the contractor companies, Lanco Rhitik Infotech, R K Chavan Infrastructure and Mahalaxmi Constructions. Under the guidance of PI Ashok Mudiraj, PSI Babasaheb Kamble is further investigating the case.
