Aurangabad, April 9:

The health teams of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today has detected 52 persons as Covid-19 positives during the special testing drives conducted at separate places in the city.

49 Covid-19 patients detected at six PoEs

The AMC has tested visitors entering the city limits through six points of the entrance (PoE) today. The health teams tested 447 persons and found 16 infected patients at Chikalthana PoE; tested 211 and detected 08 at Harsul T Point PoE, tested 282 and found 12 Covid-19 positives at Kanchanwadi PoE, tested 543 and detected five at Octroi Naka PoE, tested 300 and detected one at Daulatabad T-Point PoE, and seven were detected by testing 202 at Jhalta Phata PoE.

Three Coronavirus infected at government offices

The testing of visitors was held at seven government offices. The team has detected two Covid-19 positives by conducting antigen tests of 15 visitors at the police commissioner's office and one testing 34 visitors at the High Court. Meanwhile, the testing was done at the AMC headquarter, RTO office, district collectorate, divisional commissioner's office and registry office, but no infected person was detected today.
