60 book stalls; a feast of ideas

Malik Amber Sahityanagari, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: As many as 60 publishers have set up their book stall at the 19th Revolutionary Marathi Literary Conference at Aam Khas Maidan. These stalls started to operate on Thursday. On Friday, the number of book lovers visiting the stalls increased. Various books on the Constitution as well as ideological books are widely available at these stalls. Numerous stalls have been set up in Malik Amber Sahityanagari, with the majority being book stalls.

“On Saturday, the response had increased,” said Vinay Hatole of Ajanta Publications. Publishers from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Solapur, Jalgaon, Wardha, Ahilyanagar, Hingoli, Latur, and Nashik have also set up bookshops here.

Local publishers such as Vidya Book Center, Ramai Publications, Kailas Publications, Saket, Lokvangmay, Jivak, Pustakwala Bhai, and Satyashodhak Jagar have also participated in the literary event. Ambedkarite and revolutionary groups have always prioritised and promoted books.
