Aurangabad, April 14:

The health teams of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today has detected 62 persons as Covid-19 positives during the special testing drives conducted at separate places in the city.

61 Covid-19 patients detected at six PoEs

The AMC has tested visitors entering the city limits through six points of the entrance (PoE) today. The health teams tested 256 persons and found 19 infected patients at Chikalthana PoE; tested 193 and detected 13 at Harsul T Point PoE, tested 155 and found 13 Covid-19 positives at Kanchanwadi PoE, tested 368 and detected 13 at Octroi Naka PoE, tested 267 and detected one at Daulatabad T-Point PoE, and two were detected by testing 183 at Jhalta Phata PoE.

One Coronavirus infected found in government offices

The testing of visitors was held at six government offices. The team has detected one Covid-19 patient by conducting antigen tests of eight visitors police commissioner's office. The test on visitors at the AMC headquarters, High Court, and divisional commissioner's office was also done but no infected person was detected today.
