Aurangabad, Jan 13:

In all, 64500 doses of Corona vaccines arrived in the city on Wednesday morning. The vaccination drive against the Corona pandemic will begin across the country from January 16. It is the biggest vaccination drive in the world so far.

The vaccines were despatched from Serum Institute at Pune to various parts of the country from Tuesday. The vaccines arrived in the city on Wednesday at around 9 am at the Family Planning Training Institute at Cidco cold storage.

It was later dispatched to four districts coming under the Aurangabad deputy health directorate. Collector Sunil Chavan, Health deputy director Dr Swapnil Lale, Dr Pradeep Murambikar, principal of the centre Dr Amol Gite, Bio-medical engineer Manish Magare, pharmacy officer Varsha Aute, S V Bhivsane and others were present.
