73.69 pc of voter mapping work completed in district

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Under the Special Summary Revision (SSR) campaign, voter mapping work is currently underway in the district. As of 24 April, out of a total of 32.51 lakh electors, mapping of 23.96 lakh voters has been completed. This accounts for 73.69 per cent, said the deputy district election officer (DyDEO) Savita Chaudhar.

A review meeting was held on Thursday to assess the progress of the mapping exercise. During the meeting, the progress in each Assembly constituency was reviewed. The district administration has appealed to citizens to actively participate in the campaign by providing accurate information to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) visiting their homes for the voter mapping process. Citizens have also been requested to provide details of where their names appeared in the voter list of 2002.
