With 24 years in mental health, I see a communication gap between Millennial parents and Gen Z children. Gen Z is fast, expressive, and tech-savvy, while parents often misread emotions. In one case, parental harshness after a relationship issue caused a 16-year-old to feel rejected. Such gaps increase stress, insecurity, and poor coping.
