A panel discussion at the AI Summit explored the growing impact of artificial intelligence across manufacturing, agriculture, financial, and professional services sectors. Moderated by Founder & CEO of Findability Sciences, Anand Mahurkar, the session featured Central Council Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, CA Umesh Sharma, Senior Vice President at Findability Sciences, Radhika Krishnaswamy, and Chairman of the Board at Ducere Global Business School, Rakesh Bhatia.
Opening the discussion, Mahurkar invited insights on how AI has influenced various industry domains and how organisations are increasingly transforming perceived AI risks into strategic opportunities.
CA Umesh Sharma highlighted the rapid adoption of AI within the finance sector, noting that more than 57 universities, 152 colleges, and over 50,000 accountants are actively engaging with AI-based tools. He also pointed to AI’s growing contribution to healthcare, while emphasising that domain expertise remains essential for successful implementation.
Rakesh Bhatia stressed the importance of managing unstructured data effectively, noting that AI cannot improve outcomes without reliable and structured data inputs. Radhika Krishnaswamy added that enterprise AI is already delivering promising results in manufacturing and agricultural sectors, with applied use cases steadily emerging across India.
