Ambulance to be dedicated to public in Bamu

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A state-of-the-art ambulance will be inducted into the service of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on April 11. The ambulance will be dedicated to the public as part of the celebration of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Jayanti. State Bank of India (SBI) General Manager Anirudh Choudhary will be the chief guest. Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari asked the SBI to provide ambulances and equipment for the students, staff and teachers of the university.

The bank responded positively and provided equipment worth Rs 18 lakhs including the ambulance under the Corporate Social Responsibility fund. The equipment included a Maruti Eco Ambulance Van, Dental Chair, Analyzer and 12 lead ECG Machine. SBI Deputy General Manager Chandrashekhar Ratcha, Joint General Managers Suraj Yamyar and Tribhuvan and Branch Manager Vijay Raut will also grace the event. VC Dr Fulari will preside over.
