AMC administrator gave six months service extension to City Engineer

Aurangabad, June 30:

The city engineer of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) S D Panzade got retired after rendering prolong service today. He had worked in various capacities in various sections during his career. The AMC administrator A K Pandey today extended his service by six months by relegating the same official powers from tomorrow.

Panzade played a vital role in the development of the city. He was associated with works like garbage processing plants, construction of roads valuing Rs 100 crore, maintaining the quality of roads constructed by three agencies from the state government's fund of Rs 152 crore, arranging of food for the Covid patients, and providing facilities in the Covid Care Centres, etc. Acknowledging his service, the administrator used his special powers and gave him six months extension in the service today.

Earlier, the retired executive engineers M B Kazi and Hemant Kolhe have been re-appointed and given important tasks, while retired executive engineer Afsar Siddiqui will soon be appointed for an independent project, said Pandey.
