Aurangabad, Dec 12:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 161 antigen and 639 RT-PCR tests (total 800 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 12 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 35 antigen tests at the CCCs and found two Covid-19 patients (hailing from areas out of the AMC limit). The AMC personnel also held 120 RT-PCR tests.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 81 antigen tests and detected eight Covid-19 patients, apart from 420 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 11 RT-PCR tests; District Civil Hospital conducted 23 and private laboratories conducted 65 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 45 antigen tests and found two Covid-19 patients. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
