AMC detects 24 COVID patients on Saturday

Aurangabad, Nov 28:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 213 antigen and 760 RT-PCR tests (total 973 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 24 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 66 antigen tests at the CCCs and found seven Covid-19 patients. The AMC personnel also held 142 RT-PCR tests.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 100 antigen tests and detected 12 Covid-19 patients, apart from 506 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, GMCH conducted 24 RT-PCR tests, DCH conducted 12 RT-PCR tests and 76 RT-PCR tests were done by private laboratories. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 47 antigen tests and found five Covid-19 patients. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
