Aurangabad, July 23: If everything goes well, it is believed that the HSC result is likely to be declared by the Aurangabad Division of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) in the next week as 99.73 per cent works relating to the filing of results online have been completed.

As per MSBSHSE sources, "Today (July 23) was the last date for the junior colleges and schools, to submit the results after evaluation, on the Board's computer system. Accordingly, till 8 pm today, the results of more than 1.45 lakh students (out of around 1.47 lakh) students from the division was completed."

As reported earlier, the department of education has ordered the schools to submit HSC results (including marks obtained and grades) online by today. However, 10 per cent work of uploading the information was left on the last day. As a result, the education officer B B Chavan and his team was busy telephoning the schools to submit the result on top priority. The Board officials were also pestering the schools to give the details urgently. Their efforts yield results and till today at 8 pm, 99.73 per cent of work was reported as completed. The board's divisional secretary Sugata Punne said that majority of the work has been completed and the state board will take further action.

The results of the division's 1,313 junior colleges have been filed. Of which, Aurangabad district's 454 schools/colleges (result of 183 students left), Beed district's 290 colleges (59 left), Parbhani district's 118 colleges (157 left), Jalna district's 227 schools or colleges (29 left) and Hingoli district's 114 schools and colleges (03 left).

Disappointment over SSC result

It may be noted that the results of the Xth standard were declared on the basis of evaluating performance of students in the 9th standard. However, few schools grieved that there was a difference in the marks given by them and actual marks published in the memo by the board. However, the board is defending saying all the process was online then how come they would be able to make changes in them, it is learnt.
