Aurangabad, July 2:

A builders duped a plot owner of Rs 44.50 lakh without completing the construction on the plot as per the agreement. A case has been registered at the Satara police station against two builders Satish Dhansingh Thakur and Sachin Dhansingh Thakur (both residents of Nutan Vasahat, Jalna).

Police said, complainant Nanda Vitthaldas Vaishnav’s (Sainagar, Cidco) son Abhijeet and the accused are friends. The accused runs a company T S Builders and Development. They made an agreement with the complainant that they will construct eight flats on the plot of the accused and bore all the expenditure. In lieu of it, they will give the complainant four flats while the remaining four flats will be owned by the builders. They will complete the entire work in 18 months. The completed the flats on the first second and the third floor, but they asked for money asked Rs 44.50 lakh from the complainant to complete the fourth floor. Accordingly, the complainant transferred the amount on Thakur’s account. However, the work on the fourth floor could not be completed as the permission was not granted for the fourth floor. Hence, the complainant asked for the money, but they did nto returned it and even did not gave the flats. Hence, Vaishnav lodged a complaint of cheating at the Satara police station. PSI Vikram Vadne is further investigating the case.
