Case registered against Narwade family on police constable’s complaint

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A case has been registered against members of the Narwade family following a violent clash between the family of a Shiv Sena functionary and that of a police constable from the city’s traffic department over a parking dispute. The offence was registered on April 26 based on the complaint of police constable Nilesh Santase. Vikas Narwade was seriously injured in the incident.

According to the complaint, around 10:30 pm on April 24, a servant working at Vikas Narwade’s house had stopped with a two-wheeler in front of a residence in lane number 5, Pundliknagar. When questioned about the reason for stopping there, Vikas Narwade, Vinod Narwade, Uttamrao Narwade, Sagar Narwade, Sanjay Narwade, along with three women, allegedly assaulted the complainant, his mother, nephew, sister-in-law, and sister.

Further investigation in the case is being carried out by police sub-inspector Bhalerao.
