Center directors' meeting held

Chhatrapati Sambhajiangar: A meeting of all the centre directors in the district was held to prepare for the Class 5th and 8th Scholarship Examination 2026 to be held on February 22, 2026.

Jayashree Chavan (Education Officer, Primary, Zilla Parishad) presided over the function.

Sangita Savale provided the main guidance while Sangita Salunke, Shivaji Bhosale and Vilas Kewat (Education Extension Officer) supervised the work. Guidance and information booklets and related materials were distributed to all the centre directors.

The examination will be held at a total of 324 centres. There are 181 Class 5th Scholarship Examination Centres and 143 Class 8th Scholarship Examination Centres. A total of 53,012 students, including 31,583 for Class 5th and 21,429 for Class 8th, will appear for the examination.
