Aurangabad, March 21:

The stress of SSC, HSC students reduced a bit after School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced several guidelines, including examination centre at respective schools and colleges, extra time theory paper.

It may be noted that the students are allotted examination centres mostly in other schools and colleges during the secondary and higher secondary examination.

Students were under stress during the year 2020-21 as they attended actual classes only for a few weeks because of Novel coronavirus spread. They attended online classes, but not all their queries were cleared. Many schools and colleges did not complete the syllabus on time. So, students were under stress. The stress of students was reduced a bit after School Education Minister announced on Saturday that practical examinations to be held after theory. This will provide them with sufficient time for study.

Divisional Secretary of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Sugata Punne said that the State Board would issue a circular after the Government decision.

“However, the examinations will be conducted as per the circular from the State Board only. The district administration will help for the implementation of all norms and measures because of COVID spread,” she added.

Dheeraj Dhudhe, one of the aspirants of HSC said that he heaved a sigh of relief after it was announced that practicals would be conducted after theory.

“This will help me to concentrate more on theory papers study. Also, there will be a home centre for the examination,” he added. Prachi Gaikwad, an SSC student said that students from rural areas had a fear of how to face the examination.

“Now, we got time extra time for the examination preparations since the practical will be held after theory,” she added. There are 65,011 SSC students in the district while 55,177 candidates will take the HSC examinations.
