Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Road Rage: Bank Manager Assaulted After Car Rams His Motorcycle in Shivaji Nagar

Two local goons allegedly rammed their car into a motorcycle from behind at the Shivajinagar underpass around 12.30 pm on Wednesday, injuring a private bank manager and traumatising his young children, police said. The injured man has been identified as Kuldeep Changulanave (34) a resident of Balkrishnanagar.

He was riding the motorcycle with his wife, five-year-old daughter, and two-year-old son when the car (ΜΗ-20-EE-6316) struck their vehicle from behind. Police said that when the family questioned the occupants of the car, the accused verbally abused them. As Changulapaye attempted to reason with them, the suspects allegedly pushed him to the ground, assaulted him, and struck his face with a wooden stick. His minor children witnessed the attack and were left traumatised, police added.

The assailants allegedly threatened the family before fleeing the spot. A case has been registered at Pundlik-nagar police station, and further investigation is underway. Police inspector Ashok Bhandare said the accused would be identified and arrested soon. The probe is being conducted by police sub-inspector Rajiv Mhatre.
