Aurangabad, April 1:

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested the clerk of the Cidco Waluj Mahanagar Office red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 for issuing a construction permission on Thursday. The clerk has been identified as Santosh Daulat Jadhav (35).

The complainant wanted to renovate his house at his old Cidco house. He applied for the construction permission at the Cidco office. But, the clerk Jadhav demanded Rs 5,000 for issuing the permission. As the complainant was not willing to pay the bribe, he lodged a complaint at ACB. The ACB laid a trap on Thursday and arrested the clerk Jadhav red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs 5,000. The action was executed under the guidance of SP Dr Rahul Khade, additional SP Dr Anita Jamadar and deputy SP B V Gavande by PI Vikas Ghanwat, head constable Milind Upar, constable Ravindra Kale, Changdev Bagul and others.
