Cidco-Hudco residents demand for second bicycle track in city

Aurangabad, May 21:

The nature-lovers and health-conscious residents from Cidco- Hudco areas demanded to build a bicycle track in one of their neighbourhoods for them. It may be noted that the first bicycle track has been built on the road extending from Kranti Chowk to Railway Station via Osmanpura.

The residents grieved that half of the city's population stays in Cidco-Hudco areas. Due to the absence of a bicycle track, the area residents had to ride their bicycles on service roads leading to Harsul T-Point, Cidco N-11, Pawannagar, Ayodhyanagar, Ambedkar Chowk, N-7, Cidco N-5, and Cidco office during the morning hours. Presently, the roads are deserted due to lockdown, therefore, the vehicles pass through the service roads at speed. Hence they fear accidents. The residents demand to build bicycle track from Jadhavwadi to Cidco Bus Stand by clearing the service road for their convenience.
