Desai briefed upon the development works completed by the state government and the AMC and also stressed how it helped in shining in the Ease of Living Index issued by the central government on Thursday.

In reply to a question regarding erratic water supply, Desai said, " The state government had approved the new water supply scheme, and its work had also been started.
