City gets 20.3 mm rainfall

Aurangabad, Sept 23: For the third day in a row, rains lashed the city in the afternoon. It rained heavily in half the city while there were only drizzle in half. In all, 20.3 mm rains were recorded at MGM observatory till 6 pm and 0.6 mm at Chikalthana observatory till 5.30 pm.

It started raining in the city around 4 pm. Cidco, Hudco, Garkheda, All India Radio, Jawahar Colony and other areas received good rainfall. It was raining heavy to0 moderately till 6 pm. But at the same time, the Chikalthana area, only had drizzles for few minutes .It started raining again after 7 pm. In some areas the rainfall was heavy causing waterlogging on the roads. The rains continued until late night. As the roads were flooded, motorists had to work hard to commute from these roads.
