Aurangabad, May 16:

The severe cyclonic storm 'Tauktae' lingering over western coast of India also hit the city as winds blowing at 35 kmph and torrential rains swept the entire city. Thunderstorms, heavy rain and accompanying strong winds left people worried. Houses in many parts were flooded and some areas were plunged into darkness. The city sky had been cloudy since morning. It started raining heavily around 2 pm. After about 10 to 15 minutes of rain, it stopped raining and again resumed at around 4.30 pm.
