Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The city branches of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Western India CA Students Association (WICASA) jointly organised a swimming competition recently.

CA members, students, representing a wide age spectrum ranging from 10 to 68 years, participated in the contest. The highlight of the event was the participation of CA B S Bajaj, who stood out as the eldest competitor, inspiring attendees with his sporting spirit.

The competition was held in multiple age categories, including below 15 years, 15–24 years, 24–40 years, and above 40 years. Participants competed across various swimming styles such as freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, making the event both competitive and engaging. CA Nikhil Kacheshwar (Ironman achiever) and CA Nagarjuna Rao were judges for the event.

Managing Committee members of the branch, its chairman, CA Amol Godha, CA Kedar Pande, CA Rafeeque Pathan, CA Aishwarya Bramhecha, WICASA chairman CA Anand Totla and others worked for the success of the event.
