Classical Music session held in memory of Ustad Rashid Khan

On Ustad Rashid Khan’s death anniversary, S.B. Music Academy organized a monthly classical music session at Saraswati Bhavan Arts and Commerce College. The program began with Kumari Maithili Mule and Kavita Gazbiye performing a Bhup raga composition, followed by Pallavi Joshi presenting the Bhup raga abhang “Omkar Pradhan Roop Ganeshache”. Smita Bhalerao performed a Bhairav raga bandish and a Jhaptal note series, while Anand Mahale presented a Jonpuri raga performance. Student Ankita Dandare concluded with a devotional song and vote of thanks. Dr. Anita Deshpande garlanded Rashid Khan’s portrait. Professors and students from the music department attended.
