Cleanliness campaign in Waluj industrial area inaugurated
Aurangabad, Dec 17:
A cleanliness campaign was inaugurated in Waluj industrial area on Thursday under the green, clean and beautiful MIDC mission. In this campaign, the industrial area is being cleaned and the waste lying on the roads and open grounds is being disposed off.
The main roads, premises of the companies in the industrial area and the open spaces are littered with garbage. Entrepreneurs had lodged complaints with the MIDC administration regarding unsanitary conditions. Taking note, MIDC executive engineer Bhushan Harshe inspected the industrial area and instructed the Mahindra and Mahindra company, to carry out a clean-up operation. A clean-up drive was inaugurated at FDC chowk by Massia secretary Rahul Mogle. The road from FDC to Kamgar Chowk was cleaned. In the first phase of the campaign, waste from all sectors of the industrial area will be collected and will be followed by waste on open plots and grounds. Sheikh Abdul, Anil Patil, Shailesh Chadekar, Kailas Chavan, Deepak Dabhade and others were present on the occasion.
Industrialists appeal not to throw garbage in open
Clean, green and beautiful MIDC project is being implemented in Waluj industrial area. The industrial associations and the MIDC administration are vigilant to ensure cleanliness in the industrial sector. Executive engineer Harshe appealed to the industrialists and traders to dispose of the waste properly instead of disposing of it in the open.
