Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A total of 17 secondary schools functioning under the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) recorded an overall SSC examination result of 79.65 per cent this year. Out of 796 students who appeared for the Class 10 examinations from municipal secondary schools, 634 students passed successfully.

Among all municipal schools, the result of CSMC Kiradpura school No. 1 was the highest at 94.82 per cent. It was followed by Priyadarshini Indiranagar School with 93.93 pc, Mitmita School with 92.50 pc, and Naregaon Urdu School with 90.44 pc results.

Among the students, Gauri Jagtap from Mukundwadi secured the first position with 94.60 pc. Humera Jamila from Naregaon Urdu School stood second with 93.40 pc, while Prathamesh Bandu Mandale from Harsul school secured the third position with 91.20 pc marks.

90 pc scorers

A total of six students from municipal schools scored above 90 per cent. Notably, a differently-abled student Tanuja Ragde, who is visually impaired, passed with 81 pc marks from the Cidco N-7 School.

Mayor Sameer Rajurkar, deputy mayor Rajendra Janjal, standing committee chairman Anil Makariye, house leader Govind Kendre and leader of opposition Sameer Sajid congratulated the successful students.
