The Lahu Prahar organisation has demanded that the murder case of late Shubham Anil Waghule, which occurred ten years ago in the Jaybhimnagar government medical college and hospital (GMCH) area, be reinvestigated by the state criminal investigation department (CID). The memorandum was submitted to the police commissioner and accepted by deputy commissioner of police (Crime Branch) Ratnakar Navle. The organisation has also sought the inclusion of relevant sections under the Atrocities Act against all accused persons during the reinvestigation. Present on the occasion were Maharashtra state president of Lahu Prahar Santosh Pawar, state working president Kacharu Kamble, organiser Machhindra Bahilam, women’s wing state president Rupali Pawar, and others.
