A Dalit girl was gang-raped at Hatras district in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and her tongue was cut so that she could not say anything about it. The incident is defaming the nation and such incidents are frequent in UP. Yogi government has failed to control such incidents. The accused should be hanged and president’s rule should be imposed in the state, demanded Maharashtra Sena women’s wing through a memorandum submitted to the President of India through the divisional commissioner. A delegation of the Sena including Adv Avinash Thitte, city chief Ganesh Salve, women’s wing district chief Kalpana Jamdhade, Suresh Kamble, Shaikh Malika Baji, Mangala Pandikar, Amrapali Jadhav, Sangeeta Kamble and others submitted a memorandum.
