Aurangabad, May 4:

Vocational Teachers Association demanded to release the salary of teachers before Ramzan Eid, which is the biggest festival of Muslim brethren,

In a memorandum submitted to Chief Minister and other ministers, its State unit vice-president Dr Manohar Wankhede said that the salary of private aided schools and colleges being delayed for the past three months.

He said that there are clear directives from the Government that the salary should be released on time, but, it is delayed over a trivial issue.

“The vocational education and training officer and joint director of vocational education and training should be directed to release teachers salary on or before May 8 considering Eid which will be celebrated on May 13,” he added.
