Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Sanjeev Reddy has been appointed as the Principal of Vasantrao Naik College (Autonomous), run by the Vasantrao Naik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal.

Vasantrao Naik College, affiliated with Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, has recently obtained academic autonomy and will function as an autonomous institution from the academic year 2026–2027.

Before this appointment, Dr Reddy was working in the Chemistry Department at Gramin Arts, Commerce and Science College (Mukhed, Nanded).

He has also served as a member of the Senate of Swami Ramanand Teertha Marathwada University, as a Sub-Campus Member, as a Representative of the Vice-Chancellor, as a member of the University Selection Committee for teachers and as a member of the Career Advancement Scheme.

He holds two Indian patents and one United Kingdom (UK) patent to his credit. In recognition of this work, he was selected for the post of Principal at Vasantrao Naik College. The institution's founder, Rajaram Rathod, adv Abhay Rathod and Nitin Rathod have congratulated him on this selection.
