Sewage overflow outside the MIT police chowki has led to wastewater flowing on the road and accumulating up to the flyover, creating severe foul smell in the area.

As a college is located opposite the police chowki, student movement remains high throughout the day. With an auto stand and food stalls nearby, students and residents are facing continuous inconvenience due to the stench. From Friday morning, sewage started overflowing from the drainage chamber and continued flowing on the road. Even by afternoon, municipal officials and staff had not addressed the issue, worsening the situation. Students and citizens have demanded immediate repair of the drainage chamber.
