Notorious goon, Shaikh Javed Shaikh Maqsood alias Tipya was released from the Harsul prison recently and several criminals gathered at the gate to welcome him. Moreover, his video dancing with a girl on car top in an inebriated condition on Pundliknagar Road gone viral on social media, become sensational in the city. The goons created chaos on the Pundliknagar Road almost for an hour, but the police took no action.
Notorious goon, Tipya is a resident of Vishalnagar in the Garkheda area. In all, 17 severe offenses including murder, demanding ransom, thefts, dacoity, molestation, riot, possessing a pistol and sharp weapons and others are registered against him at Pundliknagar, Mukundwadi, Jawaharnagar and Cidco police stations. Last year, he was involved in a murder case. On July 13, 2019, he thrashed and robbed Pramod Damodar Khade at night. Pundliknagar police arrested him and sieved pistol and live cartridges from him. The then commissioner of police, Chiranjeev Prasad, considering his increased criminal activities, detained him in Harsul Prison. Hence, peace prevailed in Garkheda and Pundliknagar areas.
Tipya danced with a girl on the roof of a car drinking beer and smoking. This video went viral on social media. The sources said that Tipya and his accomplices created chaos on Pundliknagar road on this day between 11.30 pm to 12.30 pm. Although the traffic was less on the road, some people going on this way diverted their vehicles. The residents are questioning what action has been taken by the police in this regard.
After receiving the information that Tipya is coming out of the prison, the criminals including Ajay Thakur were present at Harsul Jail to welcome him. Some criminals took photos with Tipya like a celebrity. Ajay Thakur posted a video clip of Tipya coming out of the prison on his facebook wall.
