Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

In a move to strengthen sanitation facilities for women in the city, a key meeting was held to initiate e-toilet services under the leadership of standing committee chairman Anil Makariye. The meeting took place at the municipal corporation in the presence of municipal commissioner Amol Yedage.

During the meeting, it was decided to immediately roll out a pilot project by installing two e-toilets. The facility will be prioritised for the convenience of women.

Speaking on the occasion, chairman Anil Makariye said, “Providing clean, safe and accessible sanitation facilities to women in the city is the responsibility of the municipal corporation. Modern solutions like e-toilets will make daily life easier for women. Once this pilot project proves successful, such facilities will be expanded across the city in phases.”
