Diwali Padwa, one of the three-and-a-half auspicious days, is being celebrated on Monday. Hence citizens will be more focused on buying new vehicles, electronics and gold.

According to traders, the Diwali Padwa is the most important occasion for citizens. The importance of the auspicious day is such that the turnover on Padwa is double that other days of Diwali. Around 3,000 new vehicles will be distributed in the automobile market tomorrow. This year''s Diwali has been beneficial for the automobile market. Notably, this is the first time that four-wheelers bookings have exceeded the expectations of automobile dealers. In the electronics market, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch TVs have a waiting list of 8 to 10 days, said distributor Arun Jadhav. This year, TVs, fridges and other appliances will have a turnover of Rs 6 to Rs 7 crore, he added. This year, Bhaubeej is being celebrated with Padva. Mobile dealer, Dnyaneshwar Kherde estimates that on Padva, the mobile market will have a turnover of Rs 4 crore in a day as many prefer gifting mobile handsets to their family and friends. Also gold is also in high demand on Padva. On Sunday, gold was trading at Rs 52,700 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 64,000 per kg. Pure gold is preferred on Padva, and the bullion market is curious about the turnover tomorrow. In real estate on Sunday, several customers visited and inspected various housing projects.
