Exempted candidates need not apply now for PET

Aurangabad, Jan 4: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) announced that those exempted from the Ph D Entrance Test (PET) need not apply now.

It may be noted that the university released a notification for PET registration.

Two types of candidates are admitted to Ph D.

The first group is of those who clear PET and another is of those who have cleared NET or SET or GATE or GPAT or M Phil. The second group is exempted from the PET as they qualified other national level tests.

The university issued a circular on Monday stating that those are from exempted group need not apply now.

They will have to register in the second phase of Ph D admission. The second phase will commence after the declaration of the PET result.
