Follow up for an anchor project in DMIC- Pawar

Aurangabad, June 16:

Despite attracting investment, the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) still lacks an anchor project. An anchor project will benefit many micro, small and medium enterprises in Aurangabad. For this, follow up will be done with the state industry department by the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) on priority, said the newly elected president Narayan Pawar.

New team of Massia under the leadership of Pawar paid a courtesy visit to Lokmat Bhavan in Aurangabad on Monday. Lokmat Editor-in-Chief Rajendra Darda feted new president Narayan Pawar on the occasion and wished the new executive board a successful future. Pawar and other members discussed the issues of small and medium enterprises in Chikalthana and Waluj. Pawar expressed his intention to pursue the issues related to infrastructure, skill development, road expansion, electricity and planned convention center in Aurangabad. Speaking on the occasion Pawar said, "Massia will never forget the work done by Rajendra Darda for the industrial sector in Aurangabad when he was the industry minister.” Rajendra Darda expressed that while working for an industrial organisation, one should take up the issue of industries and follow up to solve it. Suresh Khillare, Gajanan Deshmukh, Manish Agarwal, Kiran Jagtap, Chetan Raut, Rahul Mogale and Anil Patil were present on the occasion.
