Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Bharatiya Samajseva Kendra implements an educational sponsorship initiative under which financial assistance is provided to needy and aspiring students from economically weaker families, with efforts made towards their overall development. As part of this initiative, a career fair was organised on Thursday for students from classes 8 to 11 at the Bharatiya Samajseva Kendra. Experts from various fields guided students on building a bright career.

Dr. Parsaram M. Shahapurkar from the school of social work, teacher Vinayak Pawar, counsellors Abhay Shah and Sudarshan Sonawane, Dr. Rani Yangad and adv. Asha Gore Shirsat provided guidance to the students. Counsellor Sonawane explained to the students and their parents about the various career fields available and how to enter them.

Higher education, income generation

Vinayak Pawar informed students about identifying their abilities across different fields. Dr. Rani Yangad spoke about various courses in the science stream that offer career opportunities. adv. Asha Gore explained the degree programmes available in the field of law. Shahapurkar guided students regarding higher education and its various aspects, while Abhay Shah suggested different income-generation options to parents. Branch director Chhaya Pawar expressed her gratitude. Staff members Vidya Pandit, Sanjeevani Mane, Swapnali Jangam, Pushpa Pule, Meenakshi Patil, Shilpa Mogal and Neela Nahulikar contributed to the organisation of the event.
