Aurangabad, May 22:

The police are not able to reach the contractual nurse of the

Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Aarti Dhole - Jadhav, accused in

the black marketing of Remdesivir injection case even after three days. Meanwhile,

a police team went to the GMCH to gain the CCTV footage of the GMCH Covid ward.

It may

be noted that the crime branch police arrested Nitin Avinash Jadhav and Gautam

Devidas Angarak on May 19 while selling the Remdesivir injections at Rs 25,000

each. They told the police that they have gained the injections from Nitin

Jadhav’s wife Aarti Jadhav Dhole, who is a contractual nurse at the Covid ward

in the GMCH. Hence, the police made Aarti accused in the case. When she came to

know about the arrest of her husband, she is absconding since then. The police

have no clue about her whereabouts.

In

the police investigation, accused Angarak has chatted with 10 persons in the

phone regarding the Remdesivir injections. The police are investigating in this

regard, the sources said.

The

crime branch police have busted three rackets of black marketing of the

Remdesivir injections so far. The cases have been registered at the

Pundliknagar, Begumpura and Vedantnagar police stations. However, the

investigations in these matters are going with snails pace as the investigation

officers have been deployed on the Nakabandi duty.
