A goods vehicle broke down inside the Shivajinagar underpass on Monday evening at around 6.45 pm, causing a partial traffic jam in the area.
The vehicle was heading from Deolai Chowk towards Shivajinagar when it stalled inside the underpass. Despite repeated attempts by the driver to restart it, the vehicle could not be moved. Traffic police personnel on duty, with the help of local residents and youth, pushed the vehicle out of the underpass manually. Traffic subsequently returned to normal.
