Aurangabad, Oct 16:

The series of thefts and housebreaking does not seems to seize in the city. Four houses at Padegaon were broken and valuables worth Rs 6.5 lakh were stolen 24 hours back. Now, a hardware shop was broken by the thieves at Pundliknagar Road on Thursday night.

Considering the rising house breaking incidents in the city, separate teams of crime branch police were established. However, the series of housebreaking still continues.

Mahesh Totla owns a hardware shop by the name Pushpak Sanitation and Paints on Pundliknagar Road. Totla, as usual, closed the shop on Thursday night and went home. The thieves entered the shop late at night by bending the shutter. The thieves stole geezers worth Rs 32,000 from the shop and also damaged the CCTV cameras.

Today morning, Totla went to the shop and found that the shutter was partially opened. He immediately informed about it to the Pundliknagar police. PI, Ghansham Sonawane, crime branch API Manoj Shinde and others rushed to the spot and inspected the situation. A case has been registered at the Pundliknagar police station.
