Helping friend proves costly, young man beaten

24-year-old Pratik Gaikwad (Navayug Colony, Bhavsingpura) was assaulted by four individuals for repeatedly intervening in a dispute involving his friend. Pratik sustained serious head injuries in the attack. The incident occurred around 8 pm on the 6th in Nandanvan Colony. Following the complaint, a case was registered at the Chawani police station against Aditya Pawar (Laxmi Colony), Rohit Lokhande, and two others.
