Aurangabad, June 10:

The honorarium of clock-hour-basis teachers working in vocational education institutes has been pending for the past two years.

A delegation of Vocational Teachers Association met the joint director of vocational education and training S R Suryavanshi and held discussions on their different demands. Joint director S R Suryavanshi assured them of looking into their demands.

State unit joint-secretary of the Association Dr Manohar Wankhede said aided higher secondary institutes in the State do not have full time teaches while language teachers were deprived of the senior grade pay scale.

“The honorarium of CHB teachers should be increased. The salary of teaching and non-teaching staff members should be released on time,” he said. Prashant Ughade, Liyaqat Ali, division president of the union Ramdas Gaikwad, Sanjay Jaiswal, Bhimsingh Rajput and others were present.
