Indigo restores air services to major destinations

Aurangabad, June 30:

Indigo Airline has announced to restore the Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad air services from the city in July. The much-awaited Mumbai - Aurangabad - Mumbai air service will start from July 12, the airlines announced. The flight will be operated four days a week, including Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight will start from Mumbai at 11.05 am and will reach Aurangabad at 1205 pm. It will again fly from Chikalthana Airport at 12.35 pm and will reach Mumbai at 1.30 pm. Similarly, the Aurangabad - Delhi flight will be operated from July 5 onwards and will be operated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight will start from Delhi at 11 am and will reach here at 12.55 pm. It will fly again at 1.25 pm and will reach Delhi at 3.15 pm.

The Aurangabad Hyderabad service will be started from July 6 onwards and the flights will be operated on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight will start from Hyderabad at 9.45 am and will arrive at Chikalthana Airport at 11.25 am. The flight will return at 11.45 am and will reach Hyderabad at 1.30 pm, informed the sources.

Presently, the flights are operated with 50 percent passengers capacity due to the Pandemic situation and the fares are recovered from the passengers as per the government guidelines for the airlines. The booking of the above mentioned air services are available online, the sources added.

Airport director D G Salve confirmed the development and said that Indigo has intimated to start the services to various destinations from July onwards. Considering the Pandemic guidelines by the government, all the necessary safety precautions will be taken at the airport. The administration is all prepared for the operations again, he said.
